Rebuild of Lapyx 4 Completed
The team has completed the rebuild of Lapyx 4 after its maiden flight, incorporating design improvements to make it fly even better and more reliably.
Our vision is to create a solar-powered autonomous drone capable of prolonged aerial surveillance, to be used for wildfire detection.
Latest prototype. 4-meter wingspan, fully integrated autopilot, 225 W of onboard solar panels for sustained flight.
Lapyx 4 has successfully completed its maiden flight, but unfortunately crashed during early testing. We are now rapidly rebuilding the aircraft, incorporating design improvements based on the lessons learned.
